WELCOME TO 2007-2008
I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe summer season.
This is my third year teaching Language Arts at West Wing School. I'm excited about what the new school year holds. Language Arts for 8th grade focuses on reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and analyzing literature that aligns with the social studies curriculum.
Below is a list of suggested supplies for the 7th and 8th grade students at West Wing.
Suggested Supplies for 7th & 8th Grade Students at West Wing School:
Pencils - non-mechanical type
Pens - box of red and a box of blue
Colored pencils - 12 or 24 pack
Erasers
4 Yellow Highlighters
5 Spiral Notebooks - one each of red, yellow, purple, green and blue (no designs please)
5 two-pocket folders without brads - one each of red, yellow, purple, green and blue (no designs please)
2 two-pocket folders with brads - any colors
1 black and white composition book
1 package of lined index cards
ruler
protractor
compass
FOR CLASSROOM:
one roll of paper towels
one box of tissue
